His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharkh, visited on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 AD, the activities of the university's ninth summer club, held at the Olympic Complex in the University City, in the presence of the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahd bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan.
During the visit, the university president was briefed on the club's activities and programs, met with a number of participating students, and learned about the offered programs and their implementation mechanism. He also visited the bowling and entertainment hall, the gym, training halls, and workshops, and viewed the various tracks aimed at developing students' skills and capabilities across different educational stages.
His Excellency the President of the University affirmed that the summer club is an extension of the university's keenness to develop the capabilities of students at various educational stages, and to invest their time during the summer vacation, stemming from its societal role, through qualitative programs that combine knowledge, skill, and entertainment, and contribute to enhancing values and national identity, developing future skills, and stimulating creativity and innovation, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Human Capability Development Program.
The activities of the ninth summer club aim to promote national belonging and positive values, and to develop students' basic and future skills through several tracks, including: the national and intellectual security track, the skill track, the entrepreneurial and innovative track, the educational track, the sports track, the entertainment track, the technical track, the social and community track, the competitive track, the cultural and linguistic track, and the artistic and creative track.
