The university, in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), is hosting the “Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program for 2026”. The program will run from July 5 to July 23, 2026, targeting gifted male and female students. This initiative aims to support their cognitive abilities, develop their unique skills, and build a distinguished generation that keeps pace with future aspirations and contributes to the national development journey.
The program spans three weeks of intensive training and scientific and practical activities, targeting 3rd-year middle school students, as well as 1st and 2nd-year high school students. It offers a rich educational experience that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application in a stimulating learning environment.
The program includes four qualitative scientific modules, carefully designed to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in participants. These modules include: a Biotechnology module that explores life sciences and modern biotechnological applications; a Digital Forensics module that introduces students to the fundamentals of cybersecurity, digital evidence tracking mechanisms, and combating cybercrime; a Technical Drawing module that equips students with essential engineering skills and principles of projection and technical planning; and an Architecture and Creative Design module focused on developing artistic skills and enhancing concepts of urban planning and innovative design.
This program comes within the framework of the university's keenness to provide a nurturing scientific environment that contributes to developing the capabilities of talented students and stimulates their passion for scientific research and innovation, under the supervision of a group of academics and specialists, reflecting the university's commitment to supporting talent and creativity and strengthening effective national partnerships.
