Under the patronage of His Highness the Emir of Al-Qassim Region, Qassim University holds the Fifth Peoples' Heritage Festival.

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, Qassim University is organizing the fifth edition of the «Peoples» Heritage Festival." The festival will last for 6 days and will be held at King Khalid Cultural Center in Buraidah from 9-14 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1447 AH, with the participation of several entities and over 90 nationalities from various countries around the world.

The festival aims to highlight the cultural diversity among peoples and promote knowledge and civilizational exchange, by offering interactive experiences that reflect customs, traditions, and folk arts, in addition to introducing human heritage in an atmosphere that fosters closeness and understanding between different cultures.

The festival includes international pavilions, the Saudi pavilion, and pavilions about the First, Second, and Third Saudi States, as well as contributions from 5 different entities. It also features diverse exhibitions showcasing the cultural and heritage aspects of each country, in addition to folklore performances and various cultural shows from different peoples. Accompanying events include World Cooking Day, International Coffee Day, and International Tea Day, as well as handicrafts, popular foods, children's theater, a classic car exhibition, live taxidermy and falcons, and interactive activities targeted at various segments of society.

The festival's organization is part of the university's efforts to support cultural and societal momentum, providing interactive platforms that contribute to enhancing visitors' cultural awareness, and highlighting the university's role in building bridges of civilizational communication, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in enhancing quality of life and cultural openness.

The «Peoples» Heritage Festival" is considered one of the most prominent cultural events hosted by the region. It annually attracts a large number of visitors and those interested in global cultures, offering a rich experience that combines knowledge and entertainment.
