Qassim University, represented by the College of Languages and Humanities, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Translation Association this morning, Monday, August 31, 2026, in the presence of the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahd bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, at the main headquarters in the University City.

Representing the university in signing the memorandum was the Dean of the College of Languages and Humanities, Dr. Ibrahim bin Sulaiman Al-Lahem, while the Translation Association was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Sayed, in the presence of the Head of the Department of English Language and Literature at the college, Dr. Yasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Batti.

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in implementing cognitive, cultural, and professional programs and activities that contribute to supporting the translation sector in the Kingdom and strengthening cooperation between Qassim University and specialized professional associations. The memorandum also aims to empower university students in the association's programs and activities, develop scientific, cognitive, and professional capacities, and raise their readiness for the job market in achievement of the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program, through joint events and programs, and to enhance cognitive, cultural, and professional communication between the two sides.
