His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Emir of Qassim Region, visited Qassim University on Monday, January 5, 2026, to view the educational and research capabilities of the university and its various achievements, in addition to its research, developmental and community initiatives and efforts, in the presence of HE the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, and university vice chancellors.
During the visit, His Highness toured several buildings and headquarters within the university city, including the colleges, the medical city, the King Abdulaziz Conference Center, the Code Lab, and the university's organic food and products store.
H.H. the Deputy Emir of Qassim praised the scientific and research facilities and the suitable environment provided by the university for male and female students, noting the qualitative achievements and pioneering development initiatives that reflect the objectives of the wise leadership and the great attention it pays to the education sector, praising the efforts of the university leaders, employees and students, and the successes achieved that reflect the development and quality of the educational process.
For his part, the President of the University emphasized that the achievements achieved come as a continuation of the support of the wise leadership - may Allah protect them - and the follow-up and interest of His Highness the Emir of Qassim Region and His Highness the Vice President, and their continuous interest in the university and its initiatives, which contributed to enabling the university to fulfill its developmental role and serve the community in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030
