His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Muhammad bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, launched the "Interactive Portfolios Project for the Applied College", which includes more than 250 electronic courses for 16 educational programs. The project aims to raise the quality of scientific content and transform applied courses into interactive electronic content supported by visual and audio elements, according to the standards of the National Center for E-Learning, in the presence of university vice presidents, members of the Standing Committee for Supervision, and college leaders at the university's main headquarters.
As part of the digital transformation of the education sector, the college has completely redesigned the learning experience through comprehensive interactive learning portfolios that are carefully constructed and professionally delivered, putting the student at the center of the educational experience. These portfolios include accurate course descriptions, knowledge objectives, diverse learning resources, a study schedule covering all weeks, and clear evaluation policies that include assignments, activities, and tests.
The project includes more than 1700 educational units, 5500 asynchronous hours, 2100 visual and audio materials, 1700 educational tests, and 1000 interactive activities and assignments, with the participation of more than 300 team members.
