As an extension of Qassim University's desire to activate international cooperation with distinguished international universities, the university, represented by its Vice President for Development, Planning and Quality, Prof. Dr. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, signed four cooperation agreements with American universities and institutes, including a contract for the College of Dentistry in Buraidah with the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, a contract with the Saban Pediatric Institute in Los Angeles, a contract for the College of Medical Sciences in Buraidah with Salles University in Sylvania, and a contract for the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences in Eniza with Wright State University in Ohio.

The university delegation also visited the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Washington, where they met with the Deputy Attaché, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sabeel, and presented him with the university shield in appreciation for their efforts to take care of Saudi students on scholarships in general and Qassim University students in particular. The university also presented a memorial shield to Dr. Samar Al-Saqqaf, Supervisor of Medical Programs, appreciating her efforts.

He pointed out that the university seeks through these agreements to activate quality in scientific research and benefit from the expertise of well-established universities and institutes in these fields, praising the support of the wise leadership for the march of Saudi universities and appreciating the interest of the Minister of Higher Education and the follow-up of the President of Qassim University for everything that would advance the scientific march of the university.

It is noteworthy that the UQU delegation included Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Muhanna Abulkhail, Supervisor of International Relations, Dr. Saleh Al-Damgh, Dean of the College of Medicine and Applied Medical Sciences in Aniza, Dr. Mohammed Al-Muhaimid, Dean of the College of Dentistry in Buraidah, Dr. Yousef Al-Dabasi, Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Buraidah, and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Dughairi, Advisor to the UQU President.
