Yesterday, Thursday, the Deanship of Student Affairs held an open meeting for new students with the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Fahad Al-Ahmad, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Al-Aqlaa, to answer the students' questions in their respective fields about what they may face during their educational journey and what the student has to do.
Al-Aqlaa congratulated the new students on the start of the academic year, wishing them success in achieving the knowledge and experience they seek at the university, and to be an active element in the march of construction and everything that contributes to the pride and elevation of this noble nation.
He also pointed out that the university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, seeks to familiarize the new student with its systems and how the procedures that the new student needs to perform, as the induction program has been prepared for new students and coordinated with many university departments to help him accomplish these procedures with ease and ease.
The open meeting included a number of training courses for new students in various colleges entitled "The Road to Excellence", presented by Dr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Ajlan, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, and attended by a number of lecturers, faculty members and university students. The courses discussed the most prominent positives and negatives facing the new student, in addition to presenting the latest developments and updates in the academic regulations.
Al-Ajlan stressed that this course is considered one of the most important training courses that help prepare the university student until the post-graduation stage, as the first year at the university is the real beginning of working life, and it is the one that paves the way for the student to choose the appropriate specialization, indicating the need to continue such courses and expand them because of the positive results they achieve for university students in all disciplines.
