Under the patronage of the Emir of Qassim, the University participates in the Agricultural Investment Opportunities Forum in Buraydah

The university, represented by the Center for Sustainable Development, participated in the Investment Opportunities Forum, which launched today, Wednesday, at the King Khalid Civilization Center in Buraidah, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the region's governor, and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli.

The Director of the Sustainable Development Center, Professor Ibrahim Al-Rabdi, stated that the university participated in an introductory exhibition about the center, which included informational panels on its fields, goals, and research, awareness, and guidance projects in the field of sustainability.

During the opening ceremony, "Al-Rabdi" received a commemorative shield from the hands of His Highness the Emir of Qassim, Chairman of the Center's Advisory Board, who praised the center's objectives and the university's efforts to serve the community.

The forum, in which relevant environmental, water, and agricultural entities participated, aims to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and activate initiatives for the National Transformation Program 2020 to achieve the Kingdom's food and water security objectives. In addition, it seeks to create partnerships between the public and private sectors, which will result in the elevation of various services and the enhancement of local products while preserving the environment and natural resources, attended by businessmen and those interested in the agricultural sector.
