In cooperation with the College of Pharmacy, the Deanship of Community Service at Qassim University leads the therapeutic education campaign in "Buraydah Spring"

The Deanship of Community Service at Qassim University, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy, organized a therapeutic education campaign as part of its programs at the "Buraydah Spring 38" festival. The campaign included several awareness stations in various fields, including introducing poisons and toxic substances commonly used in homes, methods of prevention and means of treatment when poisoning occurs, which witnessed a large turnout of men and women, whose number reached about 456 visitors.

Participants in the campaign also presented the most important herbs used in treatment, their definition, method of use and interactions with medicines, while one of the stations dealt with pharmaceutical education, which consisted of guidelines for the use of medicines, storage of medicines and their effects, drug interactions, and the optimal use of different pharmaceutical forms.

The campaign was supervised by Dr. Mansour Saleh Al-Sharida, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and was implemented by a number of faculty members, namely Dr. Ashraf Amara, Dr. Hamdoun Abdul Hamid, Dr. Ahmed Qalam and Dr. Hamed Mohammed, in addition to several college students. They received visitors and introduced them to the guidelines required to deal with medicines and medical drugs at every stage, and distributed a number of leaflets that carried several titles, including: "Medication Education", "How to Use Medication", in addition to a leaflet entitled "Vitamin D".
