Qassim University signs a cooperation agreement with "Al-Watan" newspaper to develop its media services

 

Media and Communication Center:

In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, Qassim University signed a joint cooperation agreement with "Assir Press and Publishing Foundation," represented by Al-Watan newspaper. This is within the framework of the university's endeavor to develop its specialized media strategy, serving its educational and pedagogical purposes. This includes print journalism, digital publishing, especially the website and the university's electronic portal, by linking the university website to Al-Watan's electronic portal.      

The university was represented in signing the contract by Professor Fahad bin Waze" bin Noumah, the General Supervisor of the University's Media and Communication Center, and Al-Watan newspaper was represented by its Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Othman Mahmoud Al-Sini. The university strives to fulfill its responsibilities in serving the community by building qualitative partnerships with various governmental and private institutions and conveying its message to different segments of society, whether within the region or at the kingdom-wide level.

 

The university also seeks to benefit from the distinguished media competencies of the newspaper to present media and training programs and lectures, through the university's Social Media Club, in addition to providing opportunities for distinguished students through the Social Media Club or the Media Department for future training at the newspaper.
