The University Medical City, in collaboration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, announced the Saudi Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy Fellowship Program. The program will commence on October 1, 2025, and will extend for three years. Applications will open on Monday, January 13, 2025, through the Commission's website. This initiative aims to qualify national competencies according to the latest global practices and meet modern healthcare needs.

The program aims to prepare national competencies capable of providing advanced services according to the latest global practices by training specialized physical therapists. This is to meet the growing needs in the field of musculoskeletal physical therapy within the Kingdom, in addition to promoting scientific research and preparing future leaders in the field of physical therapy, and providing evidence-based healthcare for patients suffering from musculoskeletal disorders.
