Qassim University hosts the "Annual Meeting of Saudi University Vice Presidents 2024"

His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, met with Their Excellencies the Vice Presidents of Saudi Universities and representatives of entities participating in the «Annual Meeting of Saudi University Vice Presidents» on Wednesday morning. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Vice President for Financial and Technical Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saoui, the Vice President for Government Entity Empowerment at the National Center for Government Resource Spending Efficiency, Eng. Turki Al-Bukhari, and the Secretary-General of the University Education Fund, Dr. Turki bin Suleiman Al-Zamea at the main headquarters in the university city.

The activities of the «Annual Meeting of Saudi University Vice Presidents 2024» have commenced, hosted by Qassim University. The meeting, chaired by His Excellency the Vice President for Financial and Technical Affairs, included a review of several successful models and practices. Discussions focused on developing administrative and financial performance, increasing spending efficiency, exploring funding opportunities for university projects, and unifying joint efforts to enhance cooperation among universities. This aims to contribute to achieving the objectives of Vision 2030 and took place at the Conference Center in the University City.

The meeting also aims to exchange experiences and expertise between universities. A number of university experiences in smart university cities, governance, and modern archiving systems are reviewed. In addition, the Public Authority for Government Spending and Projects will share a number of models and experiences that enhance spending efficiency and improve the quality of projects, assets, and facilities within universities. This is in addition to the participation of the Higher Education Fund, where ways to finance university projects were reviewed in a manner that enables universities to perform their role in line with development requirements and achieve their national objectives.
