On Thursday, September 26, 2024, His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Council of Universities Affairs, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, visited the University of Qassim, where he was received by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Fahd Al-Sharekh, in the presence of His Excellency the University Vice President for Financial and Technical Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Saawi, His Excellency the University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Fahd bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, His Excellency the University Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, Dr. Majid bin Fadi Al-Enezi, and His Excellency the University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Walid bin Saleh Al-Battah

His Excellency the Minister of Education met with the members of the University Council and its leaders. The meeting included discussion of a number of topics that concern the future of universities in accordance with the University Law and contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and listened to several interventions from the deans of colleges and deanships at the university.

For his part, His Excellency the President of the University praised the unlimited support received by the education sector and the university from the wise government, and the attention given to the university by His Excellency the Minister of Education. During his speech, he reviewed the most prominent achievements of the university and its advanced positions at the international and local levels, stressing that these achievements came by the grace of God, then the support of our wise leadership and the efforts of the university's staff and students, may God protect them.

After that, the Minister of Education toured the facilities of the conference center in the university city and its theaters and halls.
