His Excellency listened to a presentation on the impact of digital transformation at the university, delivered by Professor Dr. Saleh Al-Bahli, Dean of the Deanship of E-learning and Information Technology. The presentation included the Qassim region map with infrastructure, digital services at the university, digital maturity, the digital strategic plan, transformation in the beneficiary experience, as well as emerging technologies and innovative solutions in e-learning, and His Digital Advisor.

 

His Excellency the Governor also visited the «Innovation Lab» and toured its facilities, learned about the journey of innovators and entrepreneurs at the university, and became acquainted with the outputs of the university's innovation system. He also witnessed a presentation on the Metaverse.

 

His Excellency the Governor of the Digital Government Authority lauded the university's achievements in digital transformation in the Kingdom, its attainment of first place in the education and training sector for two consecutive years, and its achievement of the "Innovation" stage in measuring government entities' digital transformation. His Excellency was briefed on the university's efforts in this area, which have resulted in the university receiving a number of other awards. He praised the outcomes of the innovation ecosystem through the student projects that were presented, asking God for their success and guidance.
