His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Dawood expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the occasion of his appointment as President of Qassim University at the excellent rank.
He said: ”On this occasion, I extend my sincere thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect him, for this precious trust. I ask God Almighty to help me fulfill my responsibilities in a way that serves my religion, my king, and my country, and achieves the aspirations and ambitions of our wise leadership, foremost among them the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince, and His Highness the Deputy Crown Prince, may God protect them.".
His Excellency Dr. Al-Dawood expressed his pride in this appointment, noting that it is a great responsibility and a great trust to lead a university of the caliber of Qassim University in one of the most important regions of our beloved Kingdom. He also expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Qassim region, who stands behind every achievement in every part of the region, especially Qassim University, and to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Eissa, for his continuous support and blessed efforts. He supplicated to Almighty Allah to grant him success in achieving further accomplishments and contributions for this university. Al-Dawood concluded his statement by thanking the former University President, Professor Dr. Khalid Al-Hamoudi, for his contributions during his tenure as head of the university, during which Qassim University achieved tangible scientific and academic development.
