University President inaugurates the Professional Certificates and Career Development Forum

His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharikh, inaugurated the Professional Certificates and Professional Development Forum, organized by the Leadership and Capacity Development Center of the General Administration of Human Resources, in cooperation with the Al-Hanty Academy. The forum includes an exhibition and workshops aimed at enabling university students and staff to learn about accredited professional certificates and link them to labor market requirements, in the presence of the university vice presidents in the main lobby of the university city.

His Excellency the President of the University expressed his thanks and appreciation to the General Administration of Human Resources and the Academy, praising the distinctive pavilions included in the exhibition, and the accompanying workshops aimed at developing university students and staff, introducing them to professional certifications, and enhancing their career skills.

He added that qualified and trained human cadres are among the most important tools for development, noting the interest and care of the wise leadership - may God protect them - in building people first. He emphasized that the university is keen to develop its human cadres through training courses, workshops, and other qualitative initiatives that contribute to raising performance efficiency and improving the quality of outcomes in line with the university's vision and mission.

The forum aims to empower students and employees to consciously develop their career paths by recognizing professional certifications and linking them to labor market needs. It also aims to enable university students and staff to identify accredited professional certifications and link them to labor market requirements, which contributes to supporting conscious and knowledge-based career decision-making. Additionally, it will introduce trainees to how to map out a professional roadmap for career development, provide a comprehensive overview of distinguished professional certifications and their direct impact on proficient professional performance, and offer knowledge empowerment to evaluate career options and choose the most suitable ones. Furthermore, it will highlight the importance of certifications and continuous professional excellence as an essential part of professional identity.
