His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, and His Excellency Dr. Najm bin Abdullah Al-Zaid, Deputy Minister of Justice, witnessed yesterday, Sunday, 22/11/1444 H, in Riyadh, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the University, represented by the Leadership and Capabilities Development Center, and the Judicial Training Center at the Ministry of Justice, signed by His Excellency the University Vice President, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saawi, and the Director of the Judicial Training Center, Dr. Mohammed bin Naser Al-Shalfan, in the presence of the Dean of Human Resources in Charge, Dr. Fahd bin Ali Al-Siddis, the Vice Dean for Professional Development and Supervisor of the Leadership and Capabilities Development Center Dr. Walid bin Ibrahim.
This memorandum comes in pursuit of achieving the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 in developing the training sector and human cadres, and based on the common goals of the two parties to a number of related initiatives, utilizing expertise in the training and academic fields, and the desire of the two parties to activate a number of initiatives in this context; the two parties cooperated to conclude this memorandum as a framework for joint cooperation on its topics.
The areas of cooperation between the two parties under this memorandum include planning and designing training programs, qualifying trainers to support the implementation of training programs, coordinating the joint use of facilities and logistical services, in addition to joint cooperation in the field of relevant studies and consultancy research.
