UQU President inaugurates the eighth exhibition of graduation projects and innovative works at the College of Computing

His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, inaugurated the exhibition of the eighth graduation projects and innovative works of the College of Computing, in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Prof. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, the Dean of the College of Computing, Prof. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Shoushan, the Dean of the College of Economics and Administration, Dr. Obaid Al-Mutairi, General Supervisor of the University's Employment Day, the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ajlan bin Sulaiman Al-Ajlan and Eng.
His Excellency praised the distinguished and effective participation of the Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) in sponsoring the graduation projects of the students of the College of Computing for the second consecutive year, and stated that this is not surprising for a large company that is one of the economic balance companies in the Kingdom and attracts many graduates of the college. His Excellency presented a shield of thanks and appreciation to the company in recognition of its sponsorship of the students' projects for the second year in a row, and reviewed the products of the student projects, expressing his admiration of the displayed projects for their attractive innovative touches, and directed that these short-term projects be translated into long-term projects to be used in serving the community,
For his part, Engineer Al-Ghameez emphasized the company's keenness to attract outstanding graduates, and that the company is always keen to support students to develop their scientific and practical capabilities in order to benefit them and the community.
This was followed by a tour of the project evaluation committee representing the college and the sponsoring company to select the best graduation projects at the departmental level for this year. From the Department of Computer Engineering, the student Ibrahim Almazeed won for a project entitled "Using the Arduino Microcontroller to Build a Flying Device" under the supervision of Dr. Sameh Eweida, and from the Department of Computer Science, the student Suhaib Alghatmil and the student Abdul Aziz Aljameel won for a project entitled "E- Learning student assistance model for the first computer programming course" under the supervision of Dr. Sayed Noman Hosnioufaz.Learning student assistance model for the first computer programming course" under the supervision of Dr. Sayed Noman Hasnoufaz from the Department of Information Technology - female students Al-Taf Al-Mutairi, Ibtisam Al-Mutairi and Nawal Al-Rashida for the project entitled "A Genetic Algorithm- Based Grammatical Inference System (Flying Device)".Based Grammatical Inference System (GA-GIS)" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abu Bakr Hamdi Al-Sharif. As for the students from the Department of Information Technology, Abdulrahman Al-Khalil, Asim Al-Ayouni, Ahmad Al-Aboudi, and Faisal Al-Fahad won for a project entitled "Web-The event concluded by distributing certificates to the winning projects and congratulating them on their graduation, wishing them continued success.
