His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharaikh, and His Excellency the President of Shaqra University, Professor Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Saif, witnessed on Monday, February 2, 2026, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Medical City at Qassim University and the College of Medicine at Shaqra University at the main campus in the university city. The memorandum aims to foster cooperation between the two parties in the fields of education, training, scientific research, community service, and the transfer of knowledge and skills in health, educational, and administrative areas.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saoui, Vice-Rector of Qassim University for Financial and Technical Affairs, along with Dr. Saad bin Mohammed Al-Jubairin, Vice-Rector of Shaqra University for Education and Training.
The memorandum's areas covered the exchange of expertise and institutional knowledge, professional meetings and specialized scientific events, scientific research and knowledge cooperation, training and practical qualification of healthcare cadres, professional development and continuing education, training programs for basic and advanced skills, in addition to developing and improving medical services and clinics, and technical consultations and support to raise the quality of health services.
