The university concludes the activities of the summer club and honors the outstanding students

The university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, concluded yesterday evening, Wednesday, 26/2/1444 A.H., the programs and activities of the fifth summer club, which lasted for five weeks in the sports halls of the university city, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharekh, and a number of students' parents. The closing ceremony included a number of paragraphs, including a student operetta and a visual film about the club's activities, and honored outstanding students and participants in the success of the club's activities.

 

The club's activities and activities, which are in line with the objectives of the Human Capacity Development Program, and which lasted for five years, aimed to utilize the time of the target group of students in various educational stages during the summer period to develop their abilities and talents, promote the values of moderation and tolerance, instill national principles and values, promote national belonging, and the values of determination and perseverance, in addition to caring for the Arabic language, providing quality knowledge in priority areas, promoting and supporting the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, providing short lessons to teach foreign languages and increase awareness of other cultures, as well as preserving the heritage of the UAE.

 

The club's activities included several tracks (national track, skill track, educational, technical, entertainment, and general programs), where participants were divided into four categories (buds, boys, cubs, and youth), with a total of 387 events, and a total of 44,395 beneficiaries from in-person and virtual programs.

 

The activities also included a set of specific programs that included: Robotics and artificial intelligence, 3D printing, the prosperity nation program, administrative and leadership skills development, data privacy and digital security, and cyber fraud. Awareness and prevention, and the Kingdom of Humanity. Volunteering in Hajj as a model, talent and innovation Successful Creative Journey, The Fourth Industrial Revolution Concept and Objectives, Cyber Fraud, Awareness and Prevention, The Kingdom of Humanity Awareness and prevention, professional and vocational certificates and their importance in the labor market, first aid and medical rehabilitation, our heritage program, in addition to the My Environment is Green campaign to raise awareness of the Saudi Green Initiative, the mental sports program, the Reading to Rise program, the Little Algorithmist, hobbies, the consultation pavilion, promoting national identity, and the Together to Innovate program.

 

 

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharekh, Vice President for Educational Affairs, said: He pointed out that Qassim University plays its role in community service based on its keenness to direct its services to all segments of society, as it presented the activities and events of the summer club during the summer period, which targeted the young men and women of the community, and achieved what we aspire to and what the wise leadership wishes, by developing the skills of male and female students and refining the love of science and learning in them.

 

 

Dr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs, stressed that the university has been keen through this club to provide the best international and local practices, and received all age groups of students from the first grade of primary school to the university stage, and they were classified according to specific age groups to ensure the distinctive workflow, pointing out that the summer club in its fifth session offered more than 350 programs and benefited from its activities more than 44 thousand beneficiaries, including more than 600 beneficiaries in attendance programs, and the number of employees in the summer club reached more than 100 male and female employees and supervisors throughout the period of the club.
