The university, represented by the Medical City, is hosting a workshop titled «Institutional Transformation for University Hospitals.»

Qassim University, represented by its Medical City, hosted the workshop organized by the University Hospitals Program of the Council of University Affairs, on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The workshop was chaired by H.E. Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Rubaish, CEO of the University Hospitals Program, under the title «Institutional Transformation of University Hospitals,» and was held at the King Abdulaziz Conferences Center.

The workshop was attended by healthcare providers' leadership and included the participation of seven leaders from university cities and medical hospitals in the Kingdom, in addition to more than 30 participants from specialized work teams who discussed the workshop's themes.

The workshop aimed to lay the foundations for the institutional transformation of university hospitals in line with the goals of the healthcare sector transformation in the Kingdom, and to contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of health services.

The workshop concluded with a field trip for His Excellency the CEO of the program and the leaders of health facilities to the university's medical city facilities and departments. The attendees were briefed on the most prominent capabilities and equipment, as part of an exchange of expertise and strengthening of cooperation opportunities between university hospitals in the Kingdom.
