The University organizes a workshop on "The Executive Mechanism for the Transformation to the Three Semesters"

The university organized a workshop yesterday, Tuesday, November 15, 1443 AH, titled "The Executive Mechanism for Transitioning to Three Semesters," with the participation of His Excellency the Vice Presidents of the University, Deans of Colleges, their Vice Deans, and Heads of Scientific Departments, at the main campus in the university city.

The workshop began with an opening speech by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharikh, who welcomed the attendees. He emphasized that the university is holding this workshop for evaluation, listening, and reviewing its plan for transitioning to the three-semester system. He expressed his gratitude to those who prepared and executed the workshop. The first session of the workshop addressed the criteria for the transition, the proposed model for the university, its advantages and challenges, the transition mechanism, as well as the bachelor's degree study plans and the mechanism for their review in light of the transition, with the participation of specialists from the relevant deanships.

The second session of the workshop also addressed the academic schedule and academic transformations in line with the transition, the mechanism of transition in postgraduate studies, academic plans, academic transformations, and the development of study programs according to the academic accreditation status. The floor was also opened for discussion, answering attendees' questions, and recording suggestions.
