Fawzia Mansour Al-Harithi, the university's delegate, succeeded in obtaining a doctoral degree in algebra with the highest average of 5 out of 5 in all doctoral courses, at the Department of Mathematics at King Abdulaziz University, where her thesis was defended in her exact specialization in algebra on Thursday afternoon, entitled "Lee algebras with finite generators and their growth." The topic of her thesis was defended in the afternoon.
Due to the clear superiority of the researcher Fawzia in her specialization, knowledge and skill, and the excellence of her thesis topic, the Faculty of Science and the Department of Mathematics chose the famous American Professor (Avim Zalmanov), a professor at the University of California and recipient of the Fields Prize in Mathematics (equivalent to the Nobel Prize in other sciences) as an external examiner, in addition to the internal examiner Prof. Dr. Hamed Al-Salami, and the student's supervisor Prof. Adel Al-Ahmadi, two distinguished professors at the Department of Mathematics at King Abdulaziz University's College of Science.
