The College of Computing, represented by the Student Club in the male and female sections, is organizing a three-day awareness campaign on the occasion of "World Data Privacy Day", starting from yesterday, Tuesday, 3/6/1441 A.H., until Thursday, 5/6/1441 A.H., in the lobby of the College of Computing for male students, and for female students in the lobby of the College of Economics and Administration and the lobby of the College of Science.
This campaign aims to activate World Data Privacy Day, raise awareness and promote best practices to protect privacy and data. During the campaign, the concept of privacy, how to protect the user's digital identity and simplify ways to help protect this identity from the data breaches that have spread in the recent period, and a visual work was presented to the public on the importance of data protection through virtual reality glasses.
At the end of the first day of the campaign, the student participants gave visitors tips to protect their data and ways to help increase security, and answered questions from visitors regarding privacy and data.
