The event was designed to increase the intellectual awareness of the participants and instill the value of community for all.

On Sunday, 28/2/1441 A.H., the Intellectual Awareness Unit at the university held a course entitled "The Salaf's Approach to Group Adherence", presented by Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hujailan, a member of the university's academic staff, in the presence of more than 130 male and female students, in the presence of more than 130 male and female students.

The course discussed a number of topics, including the meaning of the meaning of jama'ah, the most prominent evidence from the Book and Sunnah on the obligation to adhere to jama'ah and warn against division, the approach of the Salaf and their words and deeds in their adherence to jama'ah, in addition to explaining what is required for jama'ah in terms of hearing and obeying the ruler and the fruits of jama'ah, as well as explaining what we in this country must do to follow the Salaf in adhering to jama'ah and imamate, and warning against listening to the preachers of division, discord and strife through modern communication media or others, whether they are inside or outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
