Three training courses on moderation and intellectual fortification at the Intellectual Awareness Unit

The university, represented by the Intellectual Awareness Unit, held a training course this morning, Tuesday, corresponding to 16/2/1441 AH, titled «Sharia Guarantees in the Chapter of Moderation... Foundations in Methodology,» at the Awareness Hall in the Unit. Thirty-seven students from the College of Architecture and Planning attended. The course, delivered by Dr. Mutieb bin Salem Al-Khamshi, addressed several points, including: the concept of moderation from a Sharia perspective, the characteristics and features of moderation, as well as its Sharia guarantees, most notably: the Sharia text, knowledge, justice, kindness, mercy, dialogue, persuasion, and arguing in a way that is best.

Yesterday, Monday, February 15, 1441 AH, the unit held a training course titled «Building Ideas: Influences and Fortifications» at the Wa'i Hall. The course was presented by Professor Dr. Fahad bin Ibrahim Al-Daali, the unit supervisor, and attended by 55 students. The course was also broadcast live to the College of Dentistry in Unaizah, where it was attended by 40 students.

The course also included a number of themes, including human nature between being influenced and influencing, the impact of new media on thought, in addition to the multiplicity and acceleration of influences, and the relationship of influences to national security. The course also witnessed enriching discussions on the importance and impact of awareness.

On Tuesday, 11/9/1441 AH, the unit organized another training course in the "Wa'i Hall" titled "Fortifying the Mind." The course was attended by 110 male and female students from the College of Education - Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. Dr. Bandar bin Nafe Al-Abdali delivered the lecture, which covered several topics, including: protecting the mind, identifying doubts, fortifying the mind, summoning it, and sensing intention, supported by numerous examples and applications. The course witnessed significant interaction and constructive dialogue, as it is considered the first in the series of training courses organized by the unit for the year 1441 AH. The training was streamed live to the College of Medical Rehabilitation for female students.
