The medical city at Qassim University has achieved a new milestone, obtaining accreditation from the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (SBAH), after passing the final evaluation conducted by the center's team recently with a high rate of 98.95%.
This achievement is the result of the Medical City's commitment to national standards for healthcare quality and safety, and the comprehensive self-assessment efforts that the city's teams have undertaken over more than 18 months, to raise performance levels and meet the requirements of standards accredited by «CBAHI». These standards included seven main axes covering leadership and quality, medical services, nursing services, infection control, laboratory, pharmacy, and safety and facility management services.
These efforts contributed to paving the way for achieving the distinguished result in the final evaluation conducted by the center's team, according to a precise methodology that includes field visits and a detailed review of medical and administrative procedures and policies.
This accreditation reflects the Medical City's commitment to implementing the highest standards of quality and patient safety, and it strengthens the position of Qassim University as one of the leading academic institutions in the Kingdom, contributing to the development and advancement of healthcare services in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
