Qassim University President attends the celebration of the Tamouh Center for Orphans in Buraydah

His Excellency, the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammoudi, attended the closing ceremony of activities for the first semester at the Tamooh Center for Orphans in Buraidah, affiliated with the SONS of Benevolence Charity Association for Orphan Care in Buraidah. The ceremony took place yesterday evening at Al-Risafah Hall, in the presence of the Chairman of the Association's Board of Directors, Dr. Sulaiman bin Ibrahim Al-Ayiri, members of the Association's Board of Directors, the Director General of the Association, Mr. Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Aboudi, and a number of officials.
The celebration included a program of speeches, beginning with verses from the Noble Quran recited by student Abdullah Al-Mutairi. Then, the Director of the Tamooh Center for Orphans, Mr. Abdullah Al-Habaiter, delivered a speech in which he praised the university president's patronage of the center's ceremony, highlighting the center's educational, academic, and sports programs. He emphasized the center's commitment to achieving quality standards in the offered programs by designing distinguished programs supervised by outstanding and competent professors. He concluded by appreciating the support of contributors in the success of the center's programs and plans for the care of our orphaned children.
As everyone watched a visual presentation that narrated the center's programs and activities implemented during the first semester, before His Excellency, the University President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, honored the students who won the excellence points and the "My Ambition" competition.
Students Abdulaziz Al-Saab and Sami Al-Muhaymid excelled in presenting a choral opera titled (Ambitions and Hopes) with the participation of reciters Abdullah Al-Khamis and Mohammed Al-Arini.
In conclusion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Suleiman Al-Ouyeri, delivered a speech thanking the university president for sponsoring the center's ceremony. He congratulated the students on their excellence during this semester and wished them success in the coming days. He also acknowledged the efforts of his colleagues at the center and appreciated the support of the ceremony's sponsors and their contribution to bringing smiles to the faces of our orphaned children.
During the joyous evening, the center's website was launched by His Excellency the President of Qassim University and Chairman of the Board of Directors, before they honored the ceremony's sponsors, the center's students, and outstanding supervisors.
