His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Professor Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, approved the launch of a center for developing scientific research skills for male and female students of the university, supervised by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The center aims to develop their research capabilities, emphasizing its importance as a hub for training and development, and working to foster and build distinguished male and female students in the field of scientific research.
His Excellency inaugurated the website for the Fifth Preparatory Forum for the Fifth Scientific Conference for Higher Education Students in the Kingdom, in the presence of the Vice President for Planning, Development, and Quality, Professor Dr. Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Shereideh, and the Vice Dean, Dr. Fahad bin Ibrahim Al-Dalaa.
His Excellency affirmed that students are the core of the educational process in universities, and developing their capabilities is a means for the advancement of nations and societies. He pointed out that this is what prompted the Ministry of Higher Education to launch the annual conference, emphasizing Qassim University's keenness to have an active presence in such scientific forums, which have been crowned by the university's students by winning gold medals and advanced awards in previous conferences.
In this context, the Shawar Volunteer Team, affiliated with the Deanship of Student Affairs, concluded the awareness campaign for the preparatory forum of the Fifth Scientific Conference. The conference, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, aims to enhance the value of scientific research, enrich society, and introduce and guide students to scientific research. The campaign included setting up a mobile exhibition among the university colleges. Team members informed university students about the conference from all aspects, motivated students to participate, answered questions and inquiries, and distributed informational leaflets. During the exhibition, immediate registration for participation in the preparatory forum was offered. Social media channels were also launched to promote the forum, communicate with participants, and answer their inquiries on various social networks.,
It is reported that the exhibition witnessed a large turnout from students and faculty members in terms of participation and visits, at which time commemorative gifts were distributed to them. .
