The university, represented by the Office of Alumni Affairs and Professional Development, held a seminar this Thursday morning titled «CV Writing and Job Search Skills.» The seminar took place on the university campus in Al-Maleza, in the Postgraduate Hall of the Economics and Administration Building for male students, and in the Business College Hall for female students.
The seminar presented by Mr. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Turki, Director of Human Resources Management at Al Nasser Group, and attended by 50 male and female students, covered several topics: "Defining Career Goals, Getting Hired, Building a Resume and Job Search Strategies, and Job Interviews and Preparation.".
The seminar addressed the path a student takes to secure a job, starting with identifying a career path for university students, proceeding to how to craft a resume, and concluding with job acceptance. The seminar also touched upon the taboos to avoid during a job interview, as well as the most important recruitment channels and ways to successfully pass a job interview.
