His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, received His Excellency Major General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, Director General of Traffic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Thursday morning, 16/2/14 A.H., at his office in Al-Malida University City, to discuss aspects of cooperation between the Department and the University, especially with regard to the Driving School, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Al-Saudi, University Vice President, Brigadier General Saleh Al-Barak, Director of Knowledge and Quality Applications Division at the Department of Traffic in Qassim Region, Col. Saleh Al-Awaji, Col. Omar Al-Abdaltif, Traffic Director at the Region Traffic, and Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al-Omari, Director of Licenses Department at the General Administration of Traffic.

Mr. Al-Dawood welcomed Major General Al-Bassami and his companions, and discussed the stages achieved in the establishment of the driving school project at the university, and discussed the progress of its construction, hoping that this school will be one of the best schools in the Kingdom.

The visit comes on the sidelines of the agreement signed between the two sides last Ramadan to establish a driving school, which is expected to be inaugurated in the coming days, on a total area of 30,000 square meters.
