Medicine and surgery
Description:
The curriculum is designed to introduce students to their subjects of study through an interdisciplinary contextual approach, linking theory to clinical practice and societal aspects from the earliest stages of the medical program. In addition, each topic is taught on at least three levels during the years of study, in introductory foundation courses, body systems courses, and clinical training courses. The spiral and integrated learning approach results in small portions of most of the program's required learning outcomes being achieved cumulatively and continuously through each course.
