Overview
طب الاسنان المجتمعي عامة يركّز على الوقاية والسيطرة على أمراض الفم وعلى تعزيز صحة الفم بالوجه الأمثل من خلال البرامج المجتمعية و من خلال البحوث الوبائية و البحث العلمي في مشكلات صحة الفم السائدة في المجتمع. قسم طب أسنان المجتمع بكلية طب الأسنان، جامعة القصيم، يتخذ من التوعية الصحية للفم و الأسنان و التركيز على البحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع المحاور الأساسية لأنشطته.
Objectives :
1. تطوير الطلاب لتحمل مسؤوليتهم الأخلاقية تجاه صحة الفم لجميع أفراد المجتمع.
2. زيادة فهم الطلاب للمبادئ الأساسية للبحوث التطبيقية للأسنان, وممارسة طب الأسنان المجتمعي
3. Prepare students to work in an interdisciplinary team required to promote oral health.
4. Promote student communication, organization, and leadership skills.
