Overview

The Department of Statistics and Operations Research is one of the academic departments under the College of Science at Qassim University. The Statistics program was established in the 1431 AH academic year and has since its inception contributed to preparing distinguished national cadres in the fields of statistics. The first cohort graduated from the program in 1434 AH. The department currently offers a Bachelor's program in Statistics, aimed at providing students with theoretical and practical foundations in various fields of statistics. It also offers a minor program in Data Analysis, approved on 12/9/1445 AH, designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills in data analysis and applied statistics. The department is keen to prepare distinguished academic cadres capable of meeting the needs of the labor market and actively contributing to the fields of scientific research and community service.
