On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the university and Kaspersky, a company specialized in the field of cybersecurity and digital privacy, to cooperate between the two sides in promoting cybersecurity education and professional training for the university's employees and students.
The partnership aims to create a stimulating learning environment that contributes to the formation and development of a wide range of cybersecurity-related competencies in students, by supporting talent development and facilitating knowledge exchange through specialized programs, workshops, and training highly qualified professionals to meet the needs of the cybersecurity job market.
The main areas of cooperation include raising awareness of cybersecurity issues among university students and staff, supporting talented young people in studying technology and software, developing specialized educational materials and integrating them into academic programs, providing advanced training for university staff, and promoting professional interaction between specialists in this field.
