On Monday, February 2, 2026, His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, and His Excellency the President of Shaqra University, Prof. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Saif, witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Medical City of Qassim University and the College of Medicine of Shaqra University at the main headquarters of the university city, which aims to cooperate between the two sides in the fields of education, training, scientific research, community service and knowledge and skills transfer in the health, educational and administrative fields.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saawi, Vice President for Financial and Technical Affairs at Qassim University, and Dr. Saad bin Mohammed Al-Jubairin, Vice President for Education and Training at Shaqra University.
The memorandum covers the exchange of experiences and institutional knowledge, professional meetings and specialized scientific events, scientific research and knowledge cooperation, training and practical qualification of health cadres, professional development and continuing education, basic and advanced skills training programs, in addition to the development and improvement of medical services and clinics, consultations and technical support to raise the quality of health services.
