University signs MoU with Isnaad to enhance the investment environment in the mining sector

Qassim University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, aimed at enhancing the investment environment in the mining sector by providing leading services and integrated digital solutions. This took place during the university's participation in the 5th International Mining Conference 2026, held at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center in Riyadh.

The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two parties in organizing and implementing joint programs, initiatives, and projects to develop the mining sector.

The memorandum includes several areas for strategic cooperation between the two parties, including: training, qualification, and human and professional capacity building in the mining sector; developing academic and professional programs, certifications, and specialized career paths in mining; implementing applied studies and research and joint research projects in mining fields; providing technical and administrative consulting services related to the mining sector; attracting and exchanging national and international expertise, specialized competencies, and professional knowledge leaders; organizing conferences, seminars, workshops, and specialized events in mining; and supporting practical and cooperative training programs for students in common fields.
