His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of Al-Qassim Region, visited Al-Qassim University on Monday, January 5, 2026, to review the educational and research capabilities the university possesses, the various achievements it has made, as well as its initiatives and efforts in research, development, and community engagement. The visit was attended by His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Sharikh, and the Vice Presidents of the University.
During the visit, His Highness toured many buildings and headquarters within the university city, including the colleges, the medical city, King Abdulaziz Center for Conferences, the CODE lab, and the university's organic food and products store.
His Highness the Deputy Governor of the Qassim region praised what he saw and reviewed, including scientific and research facilities, and the suitable environment the university provides for male and female students. He noted the qualitative achievements and pioneering developmental initiatives that embody the goals of the wise leadership - may God support them - and the great attention it pays to the education sector. He commended the efforts of the university's leadership, staff, and students, and the successes achieved which reflect the development and quality of the educational process.
The university president, on his part, affirmed that the achievements made are an extension of the wise leadership's support – may God protect them – and with the follow-up and interest of His Highness the Prince of Qassim Region and his Highness the Deputy, and the continuous attention they give to the university and its initiatives, which has contributed to enabling the university to perform its developmental role and serve the community, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
