His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at), Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, honored yesterday evening, Saturday, November 8, 2025, Qassim University after it achieved third place in enabling innovation and entrepreneurship in the university system, which aims to measure the level of entrepreneurial maturity in university environments, with the participation of 26 universities from different regions of the Kingdom.

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, received the shield of honor in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of Monsha'at, Mr. Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Husseini, among the top five entrepreneurial universities in the Kingdom, according to the results of the initiative to study the entrepreneurial system in universities, during the Bipan 2025 Forum, the most prominent event for entrepreneurship in the region, organized by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises in Riyadh, with wide participation from government agencies and the private sector and entrepreneurs.

This honor comes in recognition of the university's efforts in enhancing the innovation environment and supporting entrepreneurship within the university system, which contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
