The College of Engineering at Qassim University has received international accreditation for all its undergraduate and postgraduate programs from the German International Accreditation Authority (ASIIN) and the European Engineering Education Accreditation Network (EUR-ACE).
The college's accreditation came after a comprehensive evaluation of its programs by the Authority's team, which included field visits, reviewing the content of academic programs, teaching and assessment methods, academic resources and student support, transparency and documentation, quality management and continuous development, learning outcomes, and alignment of programs with the professional and engineering sector.
Accredited undergraduate programs included: Mechanical Engineering Science, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, while graduate programs include: Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Renewable Energy Engineering.
The College of Engineering at Qassim University is the first at the national level to combine national accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission with international accreditations from ABET, ASIIN and Eur-ACE, in a step that confirms its commitment to developing its academic programs in accordance with international best practices, and reflects the university's continuous efforts to enhance the competitiveness of its students and raise its international standing, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
