Qassim University Medical City has achieved a new milestone by obtaining the accreditation of the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Health Facilities (SPAHI), after passing the final evaluation conducted by the center's team recently with a high score of 98.95%.
This achievement is the result of the Medical City's commitment to the national standards for healthcare quality and safety, and the comprehensive self-assessment efforts carried out by the city's teams over a period of more than 18 months to raise the level of performance and achieve the requirements of the standards approved by SPAHI, which included seven main areas, including leadership and quality, medical services, nursing services, infection control, laboratory, pharmacy, safety services and facilities management.
These efforts paved the way to achieve the outstanding result in the final evaluation conducted by the center's team, according to a precise methodology that includes field visits and a detailed review of medical and administrative procedures and policies.
This accreditation reflects the Medical City's commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and patient safety, and reinforces Qassim University's position as one of the leading academic institutions in the Kingdom, contributing to the development and upgrading of healthcare services in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
