On Sunday morning, Shawwal 22, 1446 A.H., the University launched the activities of the sixth edition of the comprehensive campaign "Awareness, Health and Education" in Nabhaniyah Governorate, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region. The campaign aims to provide integrated health, awareness and educational services to the people of the governorate and its centers and villages, which are more than 100 km away from the university's headquarters.
The campaign lasts for five days and includes more than 300 diverse programs held at the Nabhaniya Cultural Center, in addition to external events that include a number of schools, mosques and villages within the governorate, targeting various segments of society from all age groups.
For his part, His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the campaign, Dr. Majid bin Fadhi Al-Enezi, explained that the university aims through this comprehensive campaign to reach its various services and programs to the people of Qassim region in their places, pointing out that this campaign comes as an extension of a group of previous campaigns implemented by the university in a number of governorates of the region, from which more than 125,000 people benefited.
Al-Enezi explained that this year's edition of the campaign will be implemented by more than 600 university employees and student volunteers, who will provide various services in various fields, including sharia, health, nutrition and training programs. The campaign will also provide a wide range of programs and services that include educational, patriotic and skilled aspects, in addition to medical clinics run by a group of university consultants in various specialties, in addition to veterinary clinics and recreational activities. Field events are also held in several locations, including schools, mosques, mosques, cattle market, and other locations in the governorate.
