His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, continued his meetings with university students and affiliates at the beginning of the new academic year, where he met with students and faculty members at the university branch in Al-Rass governorate.

During his speech at the beginning of the welcome ceremony for new students organized by the University's branch in Al-Rass Governorate, the UQU President emphasized his keenness to meet with his students, listen to their opinions and respond to their inquiries.

His Excellency welcomed the new students who, through their effort and excellence, were able to reach the university stage and enroll in the university, reminding them that the university stage is completely different from the previous educational stages, in which the student enjoys complete freedom in the matter of attending the university

"The university does not have closed doors," he added, emphasizing that at this stage the student becomes a parent himself.

He urged them to be competent to bear this responsibility, especially since the university education system depends on the cumulative average over the years of study, which gives great importance to every subject or lecture that the student neglects, pointing out that many who have completed their university education wish they could go back in time again to benefit from every moment they lost or lost in their university years, asking them to be diligent and diligent to build an excellent GPA from the first step in the university stage.

He also urged them to take advantage of the services provided by the university and preserve their colleges, which were established only to serve them, extending thanks and gratitude for the efforts made by the Kingdom's leaders and the generous financial allocations they provide for education in the Kingdom and for universities, especially Qassim University, pointing out the seriousness of the stage the country is going through and its targeting by the enemies of religion and the homeland, which puts the responsibility on students to preserve the safety and security of the country and not to hand over their minds to those who have misguided thoughts, emphasizing the solidity of society and its ability to face challenges because of the bond between its children and each other and between them and their leadership.

He also opened the way for male and female students to answer their questions and inquiries related to their academic future and the services provided by the university.

The UQU President visited the College of Science and Arts for Boys, the College of Applied Health Sciences for Boys and the College of Business Administration for Girls. His Excellency inspected the halls, facilities and services provided to students, while Dr. Al-Dawood visited the two colleges of science and literature for girls and stressed the need to provide all services and create a suitable atmosphere for male and female students.

His Excellency also inaugurated the training and community service unit of the university's branch in Al-Ras governorate, which comes within the framework of the services provided by the university to the surrounding community.

For his part, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ghufaili, Supervisor of the University Colleges in Al-Ris Governorate, appreciated the keenness of the UQU President to attend in person to meet with the male and female students at the University's branch in Al-Ris, stressing the need to adhere to the recommendations of the UQU President and emphasizing the need for students to stay away from those with deviant ideas, malicious and envious, especially on social networking sites, so that our country remains strong and proud, with knowledge, gentleness, patience and wisdom.
