The President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, affirmed that the ninety-fourth anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by His Majesty King Abdulaziz - may God rest his soul.It is a cherished anniversary in which we recall a glorious immortal day, which came as a culmination of the founding efforts that extended for more than thirty years, in which lives, money, and times were expended in order to build a great solid country, which includes the holiest places, the richest oases, the most valuable resources, and above all the most precious human beings, in which the region turned from disharmony to cohesion, and from rivalry to cooperation, under one banner, ruling with justice, shura and equality in accordance with Islamic law.

He pointed out that the fruit of that day came after years of civilizational progress in which the Kingdom stood in the ranks of major countries that lead the world, pointing out that the generations will only understand this epic after reading history, listening to narratives, and comparing the state of the country before and after monotheism, stressing that this will lead them to know that the security, safety, development and modernization that we live in today; came only after great effort and tremendous sacrifices that give them pride in the national identity and its honorable history.

He added: These great achievements that we are living today are only the fruit of that original planting that led to comprehensive civilizational progress in the political, economic, social, scientific, industrial and other fields. If we refer to the field of education in general, and higher education in particular, we find that universities are making qualitative leaps and achieving tangible progress that competes with the most prestigious universities in the world in scientific, research and applied fields.

Al-Sharekh pointed out that Al-Qassim University, praise be to God, is progressing with this planet and achieving honorable successes at the local, regional and global levels at an increasing pace.
