The Dean of the College of Computing, Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Shoushan, and Engineer Osama Jan, Director of the Alam Program, attended a workshop entitled "Know Your Future" in the Great Hall of the University and the Female Studies Center in the presence of a remarkable number of male and female students in order to build and refine their scientific talents and develop expertise, especially in the fields needed by the labor markets. The workshop opened with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the Dean of the College, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Walid Al-Battah, Vice Dean for Development and Quality, in which he touched on the importance of the student's scientific construction and his keenness on what benefits him from acquiring all that is new and advanced in the field of computer science and its applications, and congratulated the students for obtaining the first place in the average measurement test held for the year 1435 - 1436 A.H.1436 AH at the level of Saudi universities in the specialty of computer engineering and discussed the opportunities for the college graduate in the labor market in Saudi companies, especially the prestigious companies that set high requirements to obtain an appointment. The workshop began with a detailed explanation from Mr. Saud Mohammed Al-Dahlawi, coordinator of the Dream Program, where he discussed the companies' view of the graduate, what is required of the graduate and how to benefit from training in the company and explained the most important factors that companies evaluate for the job applicant, followed by a lecture by Mr. Majid Fahd Mr. Majid Fahd Al-Dawood, the company's talent acquisition officer, explained how to build a student's resume, and then the male and female attendees asked about what they see as details that benefit them in joining companies and benefiting from the training and courses held by Alam Company represented in the Halam program. The workshop concluded with the distribution of some prizes to the students who were drawn electronically by the dean of the college and representatives of the Helm program with the hope of communicating to benefit from the training programs of the esteemed company to the largest number of college students.
