The event, sponsored by the president of Qassim University, solicited community opinions and ideas about mental health care and awareness in academics.

His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, inaugurated on Wednesday the exhibition of the "Promoting Mental Health" program, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in conjunction with World Mental Health Day under the slogan "Mental Health is a Universal Human Right", with the aim of introducing students and visitors to the importance of psychological aspects, in the presence of Dr. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, in the main lobby of the University City.

Al-Dawood toured the exhibition, which contains 20 corners on the concept of mental health and its promotion, with the participation of a number of special units of academic departments and specialized units, the university's medical city, Erada Hospital and Mental Health in Qassim, as well as a corner about the efforts of the Kingdom and the university in this field.

The university's program includes a number of virtual workshops, counseling sessions, educational campaigns, and sports activities, with the aim of raising awareness and education about the importance of mental health and its impact on the physical and mental health of the community.
