University concludes Technical Career Day in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology

His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of Qassim University, affirmed that the Technical Career Day contributes to facilitating the process for the university's male and female graduates to access job opportunities, and undoubtedly serves them in their professional lives, as well as serving the entities that attract such talents.

 

This came during a ceremony honoring the participating entities at the conclusion of the Technical Career Day, which the university held in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology for two days at the main campus in the university city. More than 40 entities participated, and it included 6 guidance sessions and 8 workshops for the forum participants.

 

Al-Dawood praised the college's initiative in implementing this technology and organizing such an event with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in coordination with companies and institutions. He expressed his happiness in meeting the university's partners to contribute to the development of this dear nation and achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He clarified that holding such events and exhibitions plays a significant role in driving the development of our beloved Kingdom.

 

Al-Dawood revealed that the university will hold [events] with other companies and institutions in fields other than technology. This will be an opportunity for everyone to obtain a job through which they can contribute and participate in the development of the nation. He offered thanks to our wise government which supports the university in all its activities and programs, and to His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the governor of the region, for his patronage, his opening of this event, and his support for all the university's programs. He also thanked His Highness the Deputy Governor of the region, His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, who honored us with his presence at this occasion with His Excellency the Deputy, and offered thanks to the organizers of this event, the honorable attendees, and all the companies and institutions that participated in the Tech Career Day and contributed to providing job opportunities that are suitable and compatible with the capabilities and experiences possessed by our sons and daughters.

 

 

The Technical Career Day aims to introduce participating companies, present job opportunities, and conduct personal interviews, as an extension of the university and ministry's keenness to empower national cadres and contribute to bridging the gap between supply and demand according to labor market requirements. This involves the participation of public and private sector employment partners, to benefit from the support provided by the university and the Future Skills initiative affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to meet their needs for digital jobs.
