Yesterday, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, the university signed an agreement for training, educational and research cooperation with Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Medical Group, signed by His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sharekh, along with the Group's Chief Medical Officer, Prof. Dr. Awad Al-Omari, in the presence of His Excellency the University Vice President, Dr. Muhammad Al-Saawi, and His Excellency the University Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality, Prof. Khaled Al-Harbi, and the deans of the concerned colleges.
The agreement aimed to provide practical training for a number of university students at the bachelor's and internship levels in the company according to the opportunities available in the company and according to its requirements and internal regulations, as well as cooperation in discussing and researching the possibility of conducting joint research and studies and consultancy expertise, searching for the best ways to benefit from the expertise of both parties in relation to the subject matter of this agreement, and enhancing cooperation between the two parties in the field of community service.
It is noteworthy that the university includes 12 health colleges, namely: College of Medicine, College of Medicine and Medical Sciences in Aniza, College of Applied Medical Sciences, College of Pharmacy at the main campus, College of Pharmacy in Aniza, College of Dentistry at the main campus, College of Dentistry in Al-Ras, College of Medical Rehabilitation, College of Health Sciences in Al-Ras, College of Public Health and Health Informatics in Bakiriyah, College of Nursing, and a medical city with more than 200 medical clinics.
