University participates in the Middle East Poultry Exhibition and Conference in Riyadh

The university, represented by the Institute of Consulting Studies and Services, is participating, starting today, Monday, March 14, 2022, for three days, in the Middle East and North Africa Poultry Exhibition under the slogan "Contributing to Enhancing Food Security," which is held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event is under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadli, and was attended by His Excellency the Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, who visited the university's pavilion at the exhibition and was briefed on the services provided by the university.

 

The university aims through its participation in this exhibition to introduce the services it offers in these aspects, with the goal of marketing its services and strengthening its ties with sectors, within the framework of the university's endeavor to be one of the active and enabling entities for achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

 

The university offers its consulting, research, and educational services, marketing these services to the public and private sectors, and facilitating local and regional scientific and commercial exchange. It also strengthens the university's ties with external sectors to meet their needs and requirements, builds effective partnerships between the university and the community, promotes the university's logo and establishes its name as a service provider brand, showcases the university's projects, raises community awareness of the quality of its services, fosters research and development within the university, and encourages the talents of its staff.

 

For his part, Dean of the Institute of Studies and Consulting Services, Dr. Fahad bin Saleh Al-Ouyairi, supervisor of the university's pavilion, explained that the university is participating as an academic sponsor with a large pavilion covering an area of 60 square meters, divided into three sections according to three pillars: (Education and Research, Experiments and Production, and Prevention and Treatment), with the participation of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, the Deanship of Scientific Research, the Experimental and Research Station, and the University Veterinary Hospital.

 

Al-Eyeri added that this participation comes to highlight the university's capabilities and market its scientific research products, as one of the projects of the university's strategic plan 2020-2025, and to create opportunities to enhance the university's self-revenue by forging partnerships with the public and private sectors, and providing specialized consulting, research, educational, and training services in the food industries to enhance food security in the Kingdom, thereby strengthening the university's role in achieving this strategic orientation.
